Apollon studios are located in the centre of the village of Aegiali on the north part of Amorgos Island. The accommodation is in a calm, quiet area near to the pleasant sandy beach and all amenities, making your vacation easy and relaxing. Aegiali is a charming bay area surrounded by three picturesque settlements: Langada, Tholaria and Potamos. Aegiali is situated around the hillside with spectacular views and beautiful walking paths full of herbs and flowers. The whole area is scattered with whitewashed houses, stone-paved alleyways, beautiful churches and ancient sites. The village of Aegiali offers you a variety of restaurants, shops, cafés and bars. From our studios you are nearby all transport you need to discover the rest of the island.

TRAVEL TO AMORGOS

Amorgos connects with ferries from Piraeus, Rafina, the Cycladic islands, Rhodes and you can always connect via another island from the whole of the Aegean sea. Since the island has no airport, you can take a flight to Athens or one of the islands nearby (e.g. Naxos, Santorini, Paros, Mykonos, Astypalea) and connect with a ferry to Amorgos.
We recommend that you book the tickets as early as possible if you are interested in visiting Amorgos during the high season.

International airports

Mykonos
The island has 2 ports, from the airport you can take a taxi, to the old port it’s around 10 min and to the new port around 15 min. The island has also buses from the airport, for timetable you need to check at arrival. There are some direct ferries every week during the summer season, it takes around 1½ hour. You can also connect via another island in the Cyclades to go to Amorgos.

Santorini
From the airport you can take a taxi to the port, it takes about 10-15 min. Based on the past experience, there are daily ferry connections to Amorgos, it takes from 1½ hour up to 5½ hours depending on the route.

Domestic airports

Astypalea
You can take a taxi to the port which takes about 15 min or in the summer there are also buses. The ferry goes to the port of Aegiali some days a week and takes about 1 hour and 40 min.

Naxos
You can take a taxi to the port which takes about 10 min. There are daily ferry connections to Amorgos, it takes from 1½ hour up to 6 hours depending on the route.

Paros
You can take a taxi to the port which takes about 15-20 min or bus which goes to every flight. There are daily ferry connections to Amorgos, it takes about 2 hours.

Syros
You can take a taxi to the port which takes about 10 min. There are daily ferry connections to Amorgos in the summertime, it takes about 4 hours.

At Piraeus port, you will have the chance to buy tickets for the ship but we recommend you to do that in advance via the Internet. Remember that Amorgos has two ports, Aegiali port which is the nearest to us (3 to 5 min) and Katapola port which is the main port of Amorgos (30 – 40 min from us).

  • Athens Airport – Monastiraki
    Line 3 ”Blue Line”. Be aware of the fact that a part of the “Blue Line” is also used by the suburban railway (till Doukissa Plakentias Station)
  • Monastiraki – Piraeus Port
    Line 1 ”Green Line”, the port of Piraeus is the last station.
  • Suburban Railway: Athens Airport – Piraeus Port.
    Be aware of the fact that a part of the suburban railway is also used by “Blue Line” (till Doukissa Plakentias Station)
