CHARMING LITTLE HOTEL – NEAR THE BEACH – IN THE PORT OF AEGIALI

Welcome on board! I’m Spyros and I used to be captain on Apollon Express who sailed in the Aegean sea and now my little hotel is full of details from the ship. We have 5 studios and one room which are renovated in a traditional way with stone, wood and decorated with ceramic pots. At the same time there are modern hotel facilities to make your holiday comfortable and relaxing. The accommodation is in the center of Aegiali port on the north part of Amorgos island in a calm, quiet area near to the pleasant sandy beach and all amenities. Aegiali is a charming bay area surrounded by three picturesque settlements: Langada, Tholaria and Potamos. Aegiali is situated around the hillside with spectacular views and beautiful walking paths full of herbs and flowers. The whole area is scattered with whitewashed houses, stone-paved alleyways, beautiful churches and ancient sites.

Nice studio in a superb position

Over the years we have stayed in a number of places on Amorgos but this is the cheapest and the best. Superb central location almost on the front with a shady balcony giving views of the port. Despite this we found it quiet (in June). Good size room, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchenette and excellent shower. A/C worked well. Free WiFi a bit patchy but managed ok. Owners friendly and helpful.

Best place I stayed in, in Greece

Best place I stayed in, in Greece Rooms in the center of the village and still only a 3 minutes walk to the beach (or to the ferry). Lovely owner and staff. Very good rooms and studios, not too small, not too big and always kept clean. And the roof veranda is amazing – the space, the basil plants, the views and all the well spent time on having fruit and yoghurt never-ending breakfasts.

Great find in the centre of town

We had the please of meeting Spyros and staying with his lovely family in mid June. We are a family with young children (2,4 years) and it was perfect for us – a 30 second trip down the stairs and right into the heart of town and 1 minute walk to the beach. We had studio 2 which overlooked the harbour but also offered us some privacy. Spyros went out of his way to accommodate us and looked after us very well during our stay. We hope to be back again.

Viva Amorgos!

My wife Chiara and I had a fantastic time in Apollon studios on Amorgos island. We received a very warm welcome and availaibility from the beautiful Sofia and her father Spiros, who grow the sweetest tomatoes in the world. We had a very comfortable studio with great services (car location, cleaning, boat reservations…) Thank you again. We’ll for sure come back!!
